20th International Conference on College Teaching and Learning ~ April 13-17, 2009 ~ Jacksonville, FL

The International Conference on College Teaching and Learning seeks proposals dealing with successful practices and research to improve higher education learning. We are especially interested in proposals combining innovative learning strategies such as constructivist, immersive and cooperative learning, as well as learning communities, with uses of the Web and advanced technologies. All proposals must be submitted electronically either via the Web or e-mail. To submit your proposal for consideration, please complete the PROPOSAL FORM.

PUBLICATION CONSIDERATION
Faculty submitting proposals are strongly encouraged to also submit an in-depth paper for publication consideration. The paper should either describe the study serving as the basis of their presentation, provide a selective, but exhaustive summary of research on a topic related to the conference, or describe an innovative academic program, either classroom-based or online, which provides evidence indicating the program is significantly improving student retention and success. These papers must be submitted in journal form following the conference’s Guidelines for Authors. A total of 12-20 papers will be selected by a faculty committee; the selected papers will be identified in the conference program as “Award-Winning Conference Papers.” One paper will be chosen by the faculty review committee to receive the conference Best Paper Award. The papers will be published in Selected Papers from the Twentieth International Conference on College Teaching and Learning. The journal will be published and distributed to all participants. Selected Papers is covered by APA’s PsycINFO. The deadline for paper submissions is December 1, 2008.
