MERLOT Annual Conference - San Jose, California - August 13th to 16th

The MERLOT International Conference will be held at the Doubletree Hotel in San Jose, California from August 13th to 16th.

Proposals are due February 16, 2009 with theme, “Teaching and Learning in a Networked World,” and the following tracks:

  • Innovations in Online Teaching and Learning
  • Faculty Development
  • Featured Community of Practice: Mathematics and Statistics
  • Creative Collaborations
  • Evaluation and Assessment of Success

We are also highlighting Mathematics and Statistics as our Communities of Practice.

E-Learn 2009 - World Conference on E-Learning in Corporate, Government, Healthcare, & Higher Education is an international conference organized by the Association for the Advancement of Computing in Education (AACE) and co-sponsored by the International Journal on E-Learning.

This annual conference serves as a multi-disciplinary forum for the exchange of information on research, development, and applications of all topics related to e-Learning in the Corporate, Government, Healthcare, and Higher Education sectors.

We invite you to attend E-Learn 2009 and submit proposals for papers, panels, best practices, roundtables, tutorials, workshops, posters/demonstrations, and corporate showcases/demos. The Conference Review Policy requires that each proposal will be peer- reviewed by three reviewers for inclusion in the conference program, proceedings book, and CD-ROM proceedings.

Blended Learning continues to impact higher education by becoming a strategy for institutional and student success. How are you using blended learning? Got 10 minutes? We'd like to hear.

The Steering Committee for the 2009 Sloan-C Workshop on Blended Learning and Higher Education is looking for Great Ideas. These presentations will occur throughout the two days during the plenary sessions.

Great Idea presenters will receive a 20% discount on registration.
