We invite you to submit a proposal for the 14th Sloan-C International Conference on Asynchronous Learning Networks (ALN): "The Power of Online Learning: Improving Learning in a Networked World." The conference strongly encourages proposals that reflect the implications for the field of specific e-learning experience and practices. Last year's conference attracted over 1100 participants to more than 150 presentations, as well as exhibits, pre-conference workshops, keynote and plenary addresses, and variety of other special events.

Southwest Institute for Learning with Technology 2008 - Northern Arizona University - May 19-21

We invite participants to submit a presentation or student poster proposal for the Southwest Institute for Learning with Technology 2008 @ Northern Arizona University (formerly the NAU e-Learning Institute) to be held on May 19-21 in Flagstaff, Arizona. Just an hour and half from the Grand Canyon, the mountains of Flagstaff offer a cool summer retreat for a practical institute focusing on effective applications of technology in the university setting. The Southwest Institute for Learning with Technology is a perfect venue to share best practices and learn from experienced instructors as well as enjoy Flagstaff's wonderful scenery and local attractions. All registration fees will be waived for accepted proposals.

E-Learn 2008 -- World Conference on E-Learning in Corporate, Government, Healthcare, & Higher Education is an international conference organized by the Association for the Advancement of Computing in Education (AACE) and co-sponsored by the International Journal on E-Learning.

This annual conference serves as a multi-disciplinary forum for the exchange of information on research, development, and applications of all topics related to e-Learning in the Corporate, Government, Healthcare, and Higher Education sectors.

We invite you to attend E-Learn 2008 and submit proposals for papers, panels, best practices, roundtables, tutorials, workshops, posters/demonstrations, and corporate showcases/demos. The Conference Review Policy requires that each proposal will be peer- reviewed by three reviewers for inclusion in the conference program, proceedings book, and CD-ROM proceedings.

Proceedings

Accepted papers will be published in the proceedings book, abstracts book, and CD-ROM. These publications will serve as major sources of information for the e-Learning community, indicating the current state of the art, new trends and new opportunities.

Paper Awards

All presented papers will be considered by the Program Committee for Outstanding Paper Awards. There will also be an award for Outstanding Student Paper (therefore, please indicate with your submission if the primary author is a full-time student).

This two-day conference, held March 4-5, 2008, on the West Lafayette (Ind.) campus, is free and open to the public.

Call for Proposals

We invite you to submit a proposal to present at the 24th Annual Conference on Distance Teaching & Learning to be held August 5-8, 2008.

We encourage proposals with a focus on research and expertise leading to quality distance education. Share your expertise and experience in the application of technology to the teaching and learning process. Lead sessions on the planning and management of distance education programs. Demonstrate your successful course and/or training material to others. Or guide discussions among colleagues.
