Texas Computer Education Association (TCEA) Educational Technology Research Symposium February 4 and 5, 2008, Austin Texas

The Texas Computer Education Association (TCEA) second annual Educational Technology Research Symposium will be February 4 and 5, 2008, in Austin Texas. This two day event will provide a venue for educational technology researchers to present formal papers in educational technology areas. The registration fee for the Symposium also will entitle Symposium registrants to attend the TCEA Annual Convention and Exposition, Discover Your Destination, February 6-8, 2008 at no extra cost.

Please consider submitting a paper. Also, please forward this Call for Papers information to colleagues who might be interested in submitting a paper. Please note the September 17, 2007, submission deadline date. Submit a paper by August 1, 2007, and your name will be placed in a drawing for a free Symposium registration.

Papers should consist of original (not previously published) or reported research on any and all aspects of Educational Technology. Papers will be peer reviewed using a double-blind referee process.

Accepted papers will be published in a formal Conference Proceedings publication, which will serve as a source of information for educational technology research. Selected papers may be invited to be published in the TechEdge, TCEA’s quarterly journal. Authors of accepted papers are required to register for the Symposium and present their papers in order to have their papers published in the Conference Proceedings publication.

See the Symposium Web site at http://www.tcea.org/symposium/ for full information on the Symposium, including the call for papers.
